WE are soundtracking the 1950 film by Jean Genet 'un Chant D'Amour' in the Blackout tent at Ashton Court Festival In Bristol on the 22nd july, 4:30pm.
Also we are planning a tour of Ireland late october, get in touch if you want to put us on.

for Resonance 104.4 FM on April the 1st if anyone in London
fancies tuning in or listening on the web.
9th JANUARY 2006
Thanks to everyone who
voted for us in the festive 50 on radio 1!!! we got number
18 and we were really chuffed (and surprised).
Also, loads of people have been asking us who painted the
cover for the new album. He's an artist called Michael Shores
from massachusetts and you can check out his work at shark
art studios (along with Angela Mark who is also great).
12th DECEMBER 2005
Woop! Our album is available
to buy on the music page now (with paypal)... it should
be available to buy (or order) in shops that handle Forte
distribution from March onwards. It's a split label release
between SuperFi, Blood Red Sounds and Farm Girl Recs. Cat
no: FARMGR-007. Thanks to everyone who has made it possible
for us to release this.

Some people may be wondering where Paul our old bass player
has been - he has taken time off from live performance (and
hunting lodge) indefinitely due to health problems. He will
be working on studio based projects and we'll keep you posted
on those. Paul was one of the founding members and will
be missed.

A few things… first
off, we have lots of awesome gigs coming up including a
bunch o'dates with 3 different Japanese bands: Melt
Banana(!), Afrirampo
and My
Way My Love. We also have an 11 date tour at the end
of November (a couple of dates are unconfirmed as yet, so
if you want to book us get in touch). Check
the gig pages for more info.
Our new album will be out, all things going to plan, 20th
November and the launch party will held at the Louisiana
in Bristol on the 3rd December.
And finally, we have parted company with our 2nd guitarist
Russ who has been with us for about a year. Work commitments
and shit. Good luck in the future Russ. xxx

Stephens show on Radio 1 who played one of the tracks off
our forthcoming album.
In other news: we have updated our photo section after about
1,000,000 years. Oh and there is another band called hunting
lodge in America who were around in the 80's - they have
asked us to put a disclaimer on the site saying we are not
them. Well we're not them.

We have been asked to play this
summer’s Venn Festival in Bristol. It should be really
good - so come. There are a lot of other really nice bands
playing, including Acid Mothers Temple, Oneida, Phil Minton
& Vetiver (feat. Devendra Banhart) and loads of other
great stuff. Hunting Lodge will be playing on the Saturday.

the horizon is a split with The New Brutalism on Super-Fi

and we will be recording a 5 track EP for Blood
Red Sounds both sometime in the new year.
